Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season on Wednesday. Brady led the Pats to the first 16-and-0 season in NFL history with last week’s win over the Giants. He went 32-for-42 for 356 yards and two touchdowns as New England rallied for a 38-35 win. Brady eclipsed Peyton Manning’s single-season record with his 50th TD pass of the year. Randy Moss was on the receiving end of both scores to pass Jerry Rice’s all-time mark with his 23rd TD catch of the season.
