Spygate Revisited, Pats Host Jets
Posted by Matt Loede on December 15th, 2007 filed in NewsIn their first meeting since the infamous spying scandal in Week One, the Patriots will host the Jets this week at Gillette Stadium. Since the incident, New England has gone on to start the year 13-and-0 and is trying to become the first team since the 1972 Dolphins to finish the season undefeated. Tom Brady threw four more touchdown passes in the Pats’ 34-13 victory over the Steelers last week. The Patriots last regular season loss at home came last season at the hands of the Jets. At 3-and-10, the Jets are tied with four teams for the second-worst record in the NFL. New York’s only road win of the season came against the winless Dolphins. The Jets have lost two-of-three after falling 24-18 to the Cleveland Browns last week. The Patriots won the first meeting this season 38-14.
