Posted in Having already clinched the AFC East, the Patriots hope to continue their perfect season when they host the Steelers this week at Gillette Stadium. New England improved to 12-and-0 after grinding out a 27-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football. Tom Brady connected with Jabar Gaffney for the go-ahead score with under a minute to go to, as the the Pats won their 15th straight regular season game. The Steelers posted a 24-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night. Ben Roethlisberger ran for a score and threw a pair of touchdown passes to Hines Ward, who became the Steelers’ all-time leader in touchdown receptions. The Steelers have won five-of-six to improve to 9-and-3 and own a two-game lead over the Browns in the AFC North. New England won 23-20 when these two teams met last season. The Patriots can clinch a first-round bye with a victory.
