Belichick Says He’s Heartened By Fan Support

The embattled coach of the Patriots say he’s heartened by the support shown to him by his team and the fans. That show of affection for Bill Belichick came after Sunday night’s 38-14 win over the Chargers in Foxboro. The big win came after a week of turmoil that included a half-million-dollar fine against Belichick for allowing a Patriots employee to videotape signals by New York Jets coaches. Belichick says he’s cooperating with the league and will hand over any other information it wants.
