New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, says what’s done is done and he wants to look forward not backward. With that mantra he chose not to answer any questions Friday on the ruling that came down from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday. The NFL Commissioner has fined Belichick $500,000 and the Patriots an additional $250,000 as well as losing draft choices in the 2008 NFL Draft. If the Patriots make the playoffs, they will lose their first round choice, if they fail to reach the post season they will instead lose their second and third round picks. Belichick said all he is concentrating on is the rest of the season and specifically this Sunday’s home opener against the San Diego Chargers. Belichick’s usual Friday media briefing reportedly lasted 6 minutes and all 30 questions were about the “VideoGate” incident, which the coach refused to answer.
