Brady Limited In Practice Thursday

Brady was on the field for the portion of practice that the media observed, but the team later issued a statement saying that Brady had in their words “limited participation” in the practice session. Brady has suffered from tenderness and soreness to the shoulder since the 2002 season, yet he has started 108 straight games the third longest streak for an active quarterback in the NFL. New England coach Bill Belichick was not available for comment after the practice session. The Patriots travel to the Meadowlands to take on the New York Jets in the NFL season opener September 9.
