Pats Continue to Play it Safe with Moss

Moss

How much concern do the Pats have about the hamstring injury that has sidelined wide receiver Randy Moss? Let’s just say that the team is worried about the long-term effects of the injury, to the point where they have treated their new WR with kid gloves much of the preseason and have not rushed him back into action. Moss’ injury is one that can linger, and the team remembers all too well the hamstring injury that sidelined WR Chad Jackson last season for most of his rookie year. Moss, who last season hauled in 42 catches for 553 yards and three TD’s, is being counted on to come in and make a major impact in the passing game, and the team will continue to monitor his progress from the hamstring injury closely.
