Moss Sidelined With Leg Injury

Moss signs for the fans

Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss missed practice yesterday will an apparent leg injury.  Moss, who was picked up from the Oakland Raiders during this year’s draft, sustained the injury Wednesday after diving awkwardly for a deep pass.  He left practice immediately with his hamstring wrapped in ice.  At a press conference after Thursday’s morning session, Pats head coach Bill Belichick said the wide out was day-to-day.  Moss was the second-leading receiver with Oakland last season with 42 catches for 553 yards and three scores.  The 30-year-old is just one of seven players in NFL history with over 100 receiving touchdowns.
