Harrison Takes Salary Cut for 2007

HarrisonPats strong safety Rodney Harrison has restructured his contract for the 2007 season according to the Boston Globe.  The repot says that Harrison was scheduled to receive a base salary of $2.7 million this season. He will now receive a base salary of $2 million and can earn an additional $200,000 in incentives. His salary cap hit went from $3.4 million to $2.7 million. His salary for 2008 will remain the same.

The 14-year-pro last season played in 10 games, recording 49 tackles, and one interception.  The season before he played in just three games before getting injured and going on IR the remainder of the season.  In his career he has played in 168 total games, recording 32 interceptions and scoring two touchdowns.
